Lynotherapy is a rounded treatment will help you become aware of your entire body and assist you in correcting any movement problems or muscle imbalances.

Every Lyno® therapy session begins with a full FROM (functional and range of motion) test, bunkie test and camber test. This is followed by a release of the fascia using the LYNO TECHNIQUE®, based on the analysis of the testing. The testing together with the release requires a full 60mins. The initial consultation takes a little longer, approximately 80-90mins in order to complete a history question and answer sheet.

Initial Treatment

The initial Lynotherapy treatment takes between 80-90mins and includes:

  • A movement history intake
  • Explanation of the Lynotherapy method & how it can help you
  • Full Range-of-Motion assessment consisting of over 60 functional and mobility tests
  • Hands on myofascial release treatment based on the findings from the assessments

Follow-Up Treatment

Follow-up and ongoing maintenance treatments are a great way to ensure restoration of your body’s natural movement patterns and retain mobility throughout your musculature.
Follow-up treatments include:

  • Full Range-of-Motion assessment consisting of over 60 functional and mobility tests
  • The Bunkie test showing which myofascial tracks are dysfunctional
  • The Camber test determines if the calf can contract through full range of dorsiflexion and plantar-flexion in the neutral ankle position as well as in pronation and supination.
  • Hands on myofascial release treatment based on the findings from the assessments

Pay Upfront Special

Most people have been locked in a dysfunctional compensation pattern for years and sometimes decades resulting in overuse and recurring injuries or pain. These deeply ingrained dysfunctional patterns can require a number of persistent treatments as the client is guided towards neutral movement and more efficient movement patterns.
When paying for the 4 treatments upfront you save $10 per treatment and can book the treatments over any length of time, they never expire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to the most common questions we’re received from our clients. However, if your question is not listed here, don’t hesitate to contact us.

What is the LYNO Method®?

The LYNO Method® is a hands-on technique aimed at “melting” the sticky hyaluronic acid. This feels different for different people depending on a number of factors such as age, activity, type of activity and how locked the fascia is. But, the feelings most associated with the LYNO Method® release is a burning feeling (similar to that of a chinese bangle or donkey bite you and your friends used to give each other as kids) or a scratchy feeling.

What to wear?

Men are advised to wear lose fitting shorts and a t-shirt. Woman are advised to wear lose fitting shorts and a bikini swimsuit top.

This enables the Lynotherapist to easily release the areas of the body such as the gluteals, TFL, back, shoulders, etc.

How long does it last?

A regular Lynotherapy session lasts for one hour and it is recommended that initially you try and aim for four sessions relatively close together so that we can release the top patterns quite quickly and get to the deeper more stubborn patterns.

Should I be concerned about the red lines?

Immediately following a treatment you may find that you have a few red lines in the areas released. This is as a result of the accumulation of toxins and waste products in the areas being released. These red lines generally disappear within a few hours with a few light markings disappearing completely within a day or two.
